I'm just curious who each of you root for in MLB. If you feel like it, reply with your favorite team and why you pull for them.
I'll go first... I'm a bandwagon fan for baseball and always have been. I grew up in Miami where we didn't have a team until I was 13. I pulled for the Marlins until the second firesale in 2004 and I've bounced around since. Was a Red Sox fan for a minute and pulled for the Mariners when I lived in Seattle. I was on an Astros kick the last couple of seasons until the scandal came out. I still like some of those guys, but they're not my team. I like Oakland a bit because I cover them for Prospects1500.com and I am excited about Jeter's rebuild and the rebrand in Miami.
So...long story short, I don't have a favorite team in the same way a lot of you guys do...but the teams I watch and buy gear from are: Miami Oakland Houston

Diehard Mariners fan here. Being raise in the Seattle area, it was a pretty easy no brainer. My first real baseball memory was the 1995 series against the Yankees, and listening to my mom scream “RUN! RUN! RUN!” As Griffey crossed the plate.
I was at the Mariners 116th win way back in 2001 (I was 9 years old). I was also at the combined No-Hitter against the Dodgers a few years back. Took a girl on a date to that game, she left early and I refused to leave. I think I won that one.
I have always drank the Mariners kool-aid, and the current plan is no exception. #Mariners2026WSChamps

Diehard Cincinnati sports fan here...Reds, Bengals, FC Cincy, and Musketeers!
Born and raised in the Queen City with my dad listening to the Reds on the radio everyday. Doesn’t get much better than Marty Brenneman, although he’s now retired. I love what the Reds and Dick Williams have finally decided to do with the team and spent some money this year to upgrade an offense to match the rotation and bullpen that finally took a step forward the last season. Gray, Castillo, Bauer, Miley, and Desclafani is an exciting rotation which has been a long time in the making since, Cueto, Latos, Simon, Bailey, and Leake we’re leading the Reds to the playoffs.

Southern Connecticut is weird sports territory, growing up there you’re legitimately stuck halfway between Boston and New York. I could have wound up in the Red Sox or Yankees camps easily, but the first time I went to a baseball game was with my older cousin Mike who was repping a jersey of his favorite player, Bobby Bonilla- it’s been all downhill from there.

I grew up during the Lumber Company days, and have always been a Pirates fan. I was sitting about 3 rows behind 3rd base when John Lowenstein hit the double that blew open game 4 of the '79 series. I was dejected the whole way home. Then, just four nights later I was jumping up and down when Omar Moreno caught the last out of game 7.
I am still a Pirates fan but refuse to spend money to go to a game as long as Bob Nutting owns the team. Horrible, greedy scumbag of a person.

I was born and raised in Arlington,Texas just a few miles down the road from Rangers stadium. I was 10 years old when the Rangers moved here and Dad took me to the second ever game. I’m also a big fan of the other area teams but baseball is my first love. Too many game stories to list here. A lot of ups and downs and disappointments over the years. Particularly the WS game 6 2011 against STL. I don’t think I’ll ever get over that one. I just hope I live long enough to see us win a WS.

Blue Jays - I was raised in rural Ontario where everyone bleeds Toronto teams despite being over an hour and a half away.. still our closest option and so I support all the Toronto based teams. I also am a Browns fan for my late father. I don't have a ton of memories when I was young as I wasn't really in a baseball household - so in all honesty I don't remember when we went back to back in 92/93 (I would have been 5-6 so I doubt I'd appreciate it anyway) but I'll always love this moment half a decade ago: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UdsVO7HaJg (Bautista bat flip in ALDS, for those who can't watch.)

I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia on the East Coast of Canada. Naturally grew up watching the Jays, unfortunately they won their most recent World Series when I was 4 months old.
Hopefully I’ll get to see them win another one someday.
That being said, the Blue Jays playoff runs of 2015 and 2016 were incredible to watch. Maybe the most fun/stressful time I’ve had watching any of my teams. As a 27 year old who is also a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and LA Chargers, I can’t say I’ve experienced much winning in my life lol...

Northwest Ohio guy here, so big Columbus and Cleveland sports team fan here. Michigan still sucks.
I relocated to Boston to start my career and was bribed into becoming a Red Sox fan as well. I used to get an unhealthy amount of free Red Sox and Bruins tickets in the company box when way more important people don't use the company tickets. The admins knew that I was single and would take the tickets same day.
