All,
We've had a lot of trading of picks during the draft and the commissioners have been pretty lax about the posting requirements because there's not that much to evaluate on trading picks...
HOWEVER...
We've had our first all player trade and I want to make clear the requirements for posting a trade: 1.) All players must be posted with their full name and real life MLB team. 2.) All players must have their full contract posted next to their name. Long contract terms may be abbreviated, but the full contract must be clear. If they're prospects, just note "prospect" or "MiLB" or "minor" etc along with their AAS. 3.) All trade posts and acceptance posts must include a short explanation of the trade from your perspective. This is often key to avoiding a trade protest.
All trades will have a 24 hour hold to allow time for any trade protests to be lodged with the commissioner's office. If no protest is received in 24 hours, the comissioners will process the trade at their next update. Please note, the commissioners will be processing transactions as often as they can but there is no set schedule. If you're making a trade for an extremely short term need (like a single matchup), there is no guarantee that your trade will process on your time schedule. Feel free to ping the commissioners after the 24 hours expires and we'll do what we can. For more information on how trade protests work, please refer to the league constitution.
